WHO ARE WE ?
The National Association of Cotton Ginners (ANEC) sits on the Interprofessional Cotton Association (AIC) as the representative of all approved industrial operators responsible for ginning seed cotton in Benin.
It works to continuously improve cotton production and industrial practices and to promote Beninese cotton on international markets. It defends the interests of its members and ensures compliance with quality standards.
OUR MISSION
The ANEC’s missions are to:
- Represent and defend the interests of Benin’s ginners
- Unite members around common goals of quality, traceability, and competitiveness
- Contribute to the optimization of cotton production and productivity, while ensuring effective coordination of ginning campaigns
- Promote good industrial practices and compliance with international standards
- Promote Beninese cotton through initiatives such as Cotton Benin

To be the driving force behind modern, efficient, and sustainable cotton ginning, making Benin a benchmark in Africa and around the world for the quality of its fiber and the promotion of its by-products.
